Jennifer received her BA in Art History from Western Washington University and trained with the Hayden Institute’s Dream Leadership program. She has over 25 years of dream journaling and started an information-only website for dream interpretation (offering pro-bono work). Jenn has led several in person dream circles and online dream groups over the years with one currently researching lucid dreams. She trained with several shamans, locally and on-line, learning journeying and healing techniques; she volunteered as a case study for research in two of Kelley Bulkeley’s publications in the early 2000’s and was also a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams. Jenn was an assistant and student midwife for five years after birthing her third child at home and is currently living deep in the western North Carolina mountains. She is married to a retired Army veteran and has three children, plus many pets! Jenn is a case study participant for a Metaphysics PhD program under Michelle DeVrieze: see Our Blood and Bones for more information. She is a volunteer firefighter/EMT for her local fire department; a folklorist, animist, herbalist, gardener; diviner; cat, owl and toad whisperer and above all: lover of life.
Collaborative Dream Team
Tina Frissora: Creator of Bones and Crossroads.
For as long as I can remember, I have considered dreams real. The places, the people, animals and other beings are as real as I am writing this and you are reading it. The activities and adventures take place in some other reality. So, I didn’t give much thought to the potential meaning or symbolism of dreams. Along comes Jenn walking into my life and shortly thereafter, walking into my dreams. She opened my eyes to the possibility that dreams can also be a form of communication and a place where the creator, my higher self, my subconscious, my guides, my ancestors and more can get messages to me. Messages about what? Well that’s the fun part! This is where Jenn and the community she has built steps in, helping to analyze each other’s dreams.
The community on Discord is amazing! By sharing and analyzing our dreams, patterns emerge, archetypes are sussed out and shadow work percolates to the surface. All have proven to be important elements to progressing along my life’s path that I can’t quite see myself, but are spotted by others. And I have the privilege to do the same for them. Everyone has a unique perspective and it’s in the intermingling of the perspectives that helpful insights are discovered. Your perspective would be a welcome addition! Come join us!
Reviews
“Jenn has a profound ability to take a stroll through the dreams of others who invite her. I invited Jenn to walk through a recurring dream I had been having for years. These dreams were mundane, boring even, but persistent – recurring several times per week. I mentioned them to Jenn and she suggested that despite the seemingly boring flavor of the dreams, the frequency and length of time they had been recurring probably meant they were important. She walked into the recurring scene and sent me a voice recording of what she was able to pick up on. Together we were able to unravel the energy and message creating those dreams. I no longer have those dreams. Instead, I have a place I can travel to in vision and talk with my guides and ancestors who had been trying to reach out to me for years!”
